Events live now, too

The events feature is live now. You add new events the same way you add other new content. Please post only conventions for now though. After you've posted the event, it appears at the bottom of the left column with a countdown timer. If there are 5 other events that will happen first though, your event will only appear on the event calendar. The calendar can be reached in the upcoming events block or via the Events section in the main navigation.
