Meet, greet, game, and loot at GenCon 2007
After looking over our own schedules, Saturday evening is when we'd like to get together with the members of Gamer Chicks Rule so we can meet some of you and some of you can meet us. We are still working on the exact details, but we have a few of the plans figured out.
When: 6:30pm, Saturday night (August 18th)
Where: Food court in Circle Centre, the downtown mall (we may change this depending on whether we can line up something else)
We're going to have Gamer Chicks Rule loot so you can show off your gamer pride, and we also plan to bring a handful of games for those that want to hang out and play games. If you have your own favorite game that you'd like the Gamer Chicks Rule crowd to try, bring it, too. Friends and family are obviously welcome as well.
Use this message as a chance to let us know whether you plan to join us or whether you'd like to try to meet up with us for lunch or dinner at another time to talk about the site, gaming, or whatever.
We're going to have a few prizes at the get together, but we have one contest we'd like to announce now. The three people in attendance with the highest total XP will win special prizes. Everyone in attendance is eligible even if you've won a previous Gamer Chicks Rule contest. Look for the "How do I get XP?" story for how you can earn XP. Good luck!

Come on over afterwards. We'll still be going and probably not get into any of the official stuff until a bit later anyway. That way everyone has a chance to grab a bite to eat and maybe play a couple games.

It sucks to be broke!! It would have been nice to go to GenCon this year, but it's not looking promising. Ah well ... I hope you all have a blast, and be sure to return with stories of the fun you had (and pictures)!!
