The Princess Bride 2 disc collection

Review - Fun for fans, extras add new depth and knowledge, for the romantic in all of us.
I got The Princess Bride, the Buttercup edition for Christmas. But this isn't a review of the movie - I'm sure everyone here has seen this classic 80's tale of romance, adventure, revenge and true love. This is a review of the second disc.
The second disc is full of original and new content. There are 2 making-of documentaries, one from 1987 and a new one. There's a feature about how The Princess Bride is a true Fairy Tale. There's a historical analysis on the Dread Pirate Roberts and a feature on Miracle Max's make-up. Cary Elwes' home movies are included, and there's even a trivia game. And more!
For fans of the movie, there are a lot of behind the scenes peaks and facts about casting and production. The cast, crew and the book's author share stories about how difficult the movie was to get off the ground, how the roles were cast and the antics and fun of actually filming the movie. The cast has a bond and a camaraderie that really shines, both on screen and behind the scenes.
If you are a fan of The Princess Bride and love extras, then this is the collection for you.
