Dads love to scare their Daughters

Well, I use to be heavily addicted to a PC game called "Dark Age of Camelot". I would sit there for hours in Realm vs Realm wars. I would have my headset on, my can coke next to me, and all of the heck broke lose. My mom noticed my dad walking down the hall, and he peeked around my door. She noticed him Tip Toeing into my room. I was in a hectic fight where my full attention was on keeping my group mates alive(If you ever played, I played on Realm: Hibernia/Server: Percival name was Nemlia). Anywho, Before my mom could say anything and before I could react I turned and I started to scream like a little girl. I was so annoyed! We ended up losing the fight, my dad scared the bejesus out of me, and I just completely tune the world out when I'm having fun. This ever happen to anyone else? Or is my dad just a complete weirdo?

Haha. I bet your Dad laughed so hard too.
That sounds like something either my mom or dad would do to me if they noticed that I was just too engrossed in the game.

My dog gives me a good jolt every once in a while when she sneaks up on me (while playing City of Heroes) and presses her ice-cold wet nose against my elbow. Yow!

Wow!

I think if someone did that to me, I would probably start locking my door. This is also partly why I have my computer situated in my office in such a way that I can see the door - there's nothing scarier at work than suddenly realizing someone is standing right behind you. In my old office, it wasn't possible. Every once in a while, someone would come up and scare the hell out of me when they asked a question because I hadn't heard them walk up.

Playing in a PvP type environment with the adrenaline pumping would definitely increase the fright factor.
