Feeding the habit aka playing World of Warcraft

So if you've been checking out the Shout box, I've been trying out World of Warcraft along with ShoshieB1. About 6 years ago, I used to play Everquest quite a bit. However, it just got boring doing the exact same thing over and over. The world wasn't very deep, and it amounted to implementing the same strategy repeated ad nauseum in order to gain XP.

I have to say though that World of Warcraft beats my Everquest experience in a LOT of ways. First is the fact that ShoshieB1 and I have been playing in the same room. It makes it easy to talk about what we want to do, what our attack plan is, whether we need to go to talk to someone about a quest we just finished, or whatever. We also joined a guild that has several of our RL friends in it already.

The world itself is pretty detailed. While Everquest had quests, they were not nearly as easy, fun, or as worthwhile as the quests in World of Warcraft. While I thought I wasn't interested in the fantasy-style MMORPG, it has turned out to be quite enjoyable.

I've been mostly playing a gnome rogue named Gromo. A cool thing about WoW is that you can actually look up what people have through the web: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Blackhand&n=Gromo

Male gnomes are amusing just for their little dances and audio sounds. When you flirt, you might get a saying like, "I like large posteriors, and I cannot prevaricate." And their dance...well, let's see if YouTube can do it justice:
