Woohoo!

WinterWar was this past weekend, and it's too bad I didn't know I'd be at a lull point of my thesis progress. If I had known I'd have so much time, I'd have signed up to run a few events. I did manage to play in the Warmachine tournament on Saturday. Apart from having to sit for about 4 hours before I got to play due to having a bye in the first round, it was a good time. I felt a little bad for Joe as my first opponent because I just went all out and had pretty much won the game by the end of my second turn. He almost turned it around on me, but Irusk made his Tough roll to avoid death. The third game was against Keven and his Vlad army. Oy vey is Vlad hard to kill! He tried to outflank me, but Risen were able to keep Vlad tied down until the Iron Fangs were ready to make an attack. It turned out to be unnecessary though since the Risen were able to hold Vlad down long enough for the Spriggan to stab him to death with his lance.
