Guitar Heroines?
Hello ladies (and gents)!
Living in a gamer household as I do, it's not shocking that we spend most of our time jumping from one game to another. We have more than one computer for each person living there - more than one video game console, too.
Our current game of choice is Guitar Hero. That silly thing is outrageously addictive, and it's one of the very few console games I'll play by myself.
I'm finding that Guitar Hero seems to be a little more "girl-friendly" than most games - and I'm curious if y'all would agree. We've got non-gamer girlfriends who come over and play Guitar Hero while their boys sit around and play WoW. It seems like a non-threatening way to interact with the console systems (the guitar controller is more familiar and less intimidating, I'm thinking) and might lead the way into more non-gamer girls picking up a video game now and then.
Thoughts?
Anyone here playing on hard or expert level?

Aghhh
My boyfriend's best friend brought it up when they came to visit me over spring break. Half a week later, I had bought a used PS2 to take back with me to college (sister will not relinquish our old one DAMN YOU DDR), GH2, and an extra wireless controller. vjfsvhnsjf
Addicted much?

Me me me!
I'm working my way through hard now on GH2 (I started on that one). I've five-starred all of medium. It's amazing how big of a skill jump it is from medium to hard. My one piece of advice for anyone trying to shift up to hard from medium: the first set is EXTREMELY hard compared to the rest of hard. I don't know why, but it is. I *still* can't pass those sometimes, and I'm on the next to last level of hard now (Psychobilly Freakout is holding me back.).
I bought little guitar earrings this past weekend, so I could show my Guitar Heroine-ness.
I haven't tried expert yet. I hear that the jump from hard to expert is not that big of a deal...just the big skill jump from medium to hard. I really think they could have done a better job both with the tutorials and with the transitions between levels.

Hi! I have only played
Hi!
I have only played once. We don't own a ps2. I've heard rumors that one of the GH's will be released this year for the xbox. I had a blast even though my score, on easy, barely hit 12000. It was really fun to watch the kids at youth group play these songs from my youth and have no clue what the words were.
Medium
I play on Medium but only sometimes. I don't own a PS2, which is probably a good thing because I might not ever do anything BUT play GH! Now there is going to be one for the Wii! I think the unlockables are some of the best songs on GH2... and any metal is good metal!
