March Contest

The contest ended a few minutes ago, and we have the winner of the first Gamer Chicks Rule contest! Sephera put up a massive 133XP since we started the contest at the beginning of March. Mortiana27 put on a really good showing, too. She pulled in 113XP during the month of March. Sephera will get her choice of a GenCon 2007 badge or $65 worth of games. April's contest will start late Sunday night, so check the site on Sunday for details.

For the month of March, we are doing a contest! The user who gains the most xp from March 1st through March 31st will earn their choice of either a free badge to GenCon 2007 in Indianapolis from August 16th to August 19th or a $65 gift certificate to buy more games!

Since it might come down to the wire, we'll be tabulating things based on the standings at 11:59pm EST on Saturday night.

You can earn xp in two different ways. First, you gain 5xp for posting a new story - not for forum posts, sorry. You also gain xp by helping to recruit new site members. When you use the invite form in March, you'll get 6xp when they use your invite to register on the site. This actually represents a tweak to how you can earn xp by recruiting new members. We'll capture how much xp everyone has late on Wednesday night so we can check it again at the end of March to see who won.
