Runescape, the Little MMO That Could

It's a tiny little MMORPG, without the graphics or sound quality of an Everquest, let alone Wow, but Runescape does one thing better than any other MMO I've ever heard of...content.
The quests on Runescape, of which they have well over 100, are a delight to complete. The dialogue is witty, & full of references the bulk of the 13 year olds playing just won't get...but their parents might. I've seen Monty Python quotes as well as a quote from "The Tick." For example, if you try to use a herring, raw or cooked, on a tree, the message you get is, "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest." Very funny to fans of Monty Python. Of course, who else would try to use a herring on a tree? The penguins of Runescape are plotting to take over the world and you have to stop them, James Bond style. (Also in that quest is a quote from penguin bards about "More cowbell!" Again funny to older folks, probably lost on 13 year olds.) There's a bartender in Varrock who will tell you if you talk to him that you're playing a computer game. The list goes on.
Why do I ramble so about this? Because I'd love to see more grown-ups join me on Runescape. It can be played free, & even if you become a memebr, the fee is small enough that most teenagers can afford it. I can honestly say that I have more fun playing Runescape than any other MMO I've ever tried. It certainly makes me laugh out loud more often than any other game I've played.
