Neverwinter Nights

Neverwinter Nights came out a few years ago, but my son bought me the NWN Diamond collection last Christmas (2005) which includes the original Neverwinter Nights, Shadows of Undrentide(sp) and Hordes of the Underdark as well as 3 premium modules. The really cool thing is this is the newest in a series of games that allow creative people to create modules or convert old PNP games to computer. They post their modules on the net and we can download and play the games. I have been a faithful follower of the old SSI gold box games and their cumulative builder effort called "Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures". For years, I was a member of the FRUA community reviewing modules on our net list and writing reviews for the FRUA newsletter.

Since getting hooked on NWN a year ago, I've abandoned FRUA. NWN is frua but with nicer graphics and a lot of cool modules to play.

If you haven't given this game a try, do so. We found the Diamond collection for $20 at walmart and I know it's available at Amazon.com as well.
