Easier post editor now online
Submitted by MikeIT on Mon, 02/11/2008 - 15:26.I've enabled a post editor that's a little easier for those that don't know HTML. If you decide you want to still do HTML, you need to click the "disable rich-text" link just below the editing window. If people end up not liking it, let us know, and we'll take it back off.

New theme almost ready
Submitted by MikeIT on Mon, 09/03/2007 - 16:26.A new Gamer Chicks Rule theme is almost ready. I will be doing some testing in the next few days as well as making one more major tweak. To me, it is a HUGE step from the existing template. Just in case it isn't though, users will have the choice of using the old theme or the new theme. I know which one I'll be using.

GenCon from the GamerChicksRule-oriented male perspective
Submitted by MikeIT on Mon, 08/20/2007 - 14:44.It was the fastest four days I've experienced in a while, but it was a really good time. New Gamer Chicks Rule logo!
In case you didn't notice at the top of the page, we have a new logo! ShoshieB1 was the mind that drove the creation of a logo for GamerChicksRule.com. We believe it catches the fun, playful side that we believe gamer chicks have inside of them as well as the competitiveness.

Knights of the Dinner Table mentions Gamer Chicks Rule
Submitted by MikeIT on Thu, 06/28/2007 - 03:55.There's an article in the latest issue of Knights of the Dinner Table (#128) that talks about women in gaming. Not only that, but Gamer Chicks Rule was mentioned specifically as a site for women who game. The issue also has a few comics about a wife dealing with her husband and their gaming groups. It's quite amusing.

Gamer Chicks Rule mentioned on All Games Considered podcast
Submitted by MikeIT on Tue, 05/01/2007 - 00:44.All Games Considered (http://allgamesconsidered.blogspot.com/) mentioned Gamer Chicks Rule in their most recent podcast. I listen to their show whenever it comes out as they cover mostly role-playing games, and they also have had a few female gamer-focused episodes. Give them a listen if you haven't yet done so.
