I just saw an article on Digg that lists the Top 10 Reasons Geeks Make Good Fathers. As a geek dad myself, I found it amusing. Maybe someone here can come up with a Top 10 Reasons Geeks Make Good Mothers, too. "Playing vs Silly Adult Talk" is so me. At any event where there are kids, I'm more likely to be playing with them than spending the whole time talking to the adults.

ShoshieB1 and I would really like to game more with some peers, and so we've been thinking about how we might organize a group around families and RPGs. Being married with a child requires a different gaming lifestyle than when you're single, and we're curious if any of you game with other families of gamers.
