board games

So there's a group that gets together every other week to play board games - euro type games. I guess I'll just break down the evenings then if it sounds fun and someone lives close, they can come join us!

This week's Geek Girls Rule! is about the various card games that the Mister and I have been playing in the last month or so.
We've been on a real card-gaming tear.

ConquestNW is a convention I just found out about, that is taking place just outside of Seattle, WA in Bellevue, WA.

I don't know as much about this convention, except that it is going to have an Indie game lounge going on, run by members of the Story Games board.

GameStorm is a gaming convention in Vancouver, WA (just across the river from Portland, OR). It has 24 hour gaming and programming, and inside of the larger convention has the Indy Games Hurricane, which is devoted to the promotion and playing of Independently produced games.

I found out about this earlier this year from Sephera's post
Family Time and signed up to get an announcement in my email. I've already sent out a letter to my local PTA to ask if they would be interested if MikeIT and I co-chaired the committee to get it organized.
