So, yeah, I kind of slacked off for a while because the work situation was less than ideal but I'm back.

So D&D 4th Edition came out last week, and I got a chance to play a demo on Saturday. I went in with the idea that it would be a completely new game, only loosely based on Dungeons & Dragons as I knew it. As it was, I turned out to be pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a VERY different game, but it seems to be a great system for a fantasy game. Has anyone else tried it yet? What do you think?

My thoughts on Gary Gygax's passing.

I really didn't expect his passing to effect me like it did. I cried when I read it. I'm not saying the man and the system are without faults, but it did make me very sad to know that he was gone.
