City of Heroes

Well, it started in 2004. My husband and I were trying to save money for a vacation to the Yukon (Canada) and his father was all abuzz with raves of a new superhero game called City of Heroes. It sounded interesting, but even with all the rave reviews, one phrase stood out loud and clear - pay to play. It was going to cost us to play the game. Immediately, we knew the answer would be no.
